We are part of the Alliance with the aim of caring for our natural resources today and tomorrow. Together we work to continuously improve our fishing practices and to align with global standards for long-term sustainable fishing.

Regulatory framework

CONAPESCA and the Harbor Master's Office

The National Commission for Aquaculture and Fisheries (CONAPESCA) grants us fishing permits, equipment and fishing gear certification and the assignment of observers; the Harbor Master's Office grants our navigation permits. Every one of our commitments is based on our convictions as a company, in strict adherence to the UN Sustainable Development Goals.

Three pillars, five active programs.

Our sustainability strategy is organized under the three pillars of the ESG framework: Environmental, Social and Governance. Each pillar brings together institutional programs with their own methodology, measurable metrics and long-term commitment.

Environmental
Sea and natural environment

Ocean protection, waste management, energy efficiency and marine biodiversity as the axes of our environmental responsibility.

  • Blue FlagVolunteering · 8 beaches in Mazatlán

    As part of our corporate volunteering, we have held beach clean-up days since 2018. We cover 8 beaches along the coast, including one adopted beach; they take place once a month with employees, family and friends.

  • Circular Economy7R's Model · INPLARSA

    In partnership with INPLARSA, we hand over our fishing net panels that are no longer usable. They extract the nylon and turn it into plastic pellets used to manufacture industrial products that we use in our operations.

    We are certified by institutions such as the ISSF (International Seafood Sustainability Foundation) and we are part of alliances such as the Pacific Alliance for Sustainable Tuna.
